Good Afternoon Clubs and Organizations,
I cannot already believe that I am writing our end of the year reminder email. It seems like the school year has flown by this year even in this remote environment. I did want to take the time to remind you all about a few things as we move into the summer months mostly around Club Budgets.
In Person Conferences (Fall 2021):
As of right now, we are still not able to allow groups to attend in person conferences this summer and September. Once we get more guidance from the university regarding travel in the Fall, we will be able to provide you more information. (As a reminder, travel restrictions are outside of both SGA’s and OSI’s control.)
Virtual Conferences (Fall 2021):
Student Government is still accepting applications for Fall Virtual Conferences for next year. If your club or organization would like to attend a fall virtual conference you will be able to apply starting in late August again. SGA will hear presentations for Fall Conferences in September for October, November, and December. If you have questions regarding virtual conferences, please email sga@snhu.edu.
Club Budget Reminders (Spring 2021):
The Fiscal year for Budgets End on 6/30/2021. The last day for purchases is the last day of classes (4/30/2021). Funds can only be used for activities/items to be used this semester (Spring 2021). After the last day to make purchases, there will be a spending freeze until Fall Budgets come out and guidelines are made available. If you have any questions regarding the end of term spending please reach out to Michelle in OSI m.scali@snhu.edu.
Club Budget News (Fall 2021):
As of right now, the current plan is to provide clubs with their budgets for FALL 2021 ONLY at some point during July. Spring 2022 Budget information will be forthcoming at a later date. If you have questions regarding your club’s budget email Michelle in OSI m.scali@snhu.edu.
